After becoming obsessed with drum machines and processing, we built Dreamsonics by sampling our favorite tones from multiple eras of music.
Sounds were hand-sourced from iconic analog and digital units:
1980s: Oberheim DMX, Yamaha RX-5, E-MU Drumulator, Alesis HR-16, Linn LM-1 & 9000, Korg DDD-1
1990s: E-MU Mo Phatt, Proteus, SP1200, Korg EMX-1, MPC2000, MPC1000
Each drum was processed with the same gear used in the 80s/90s and digitally enhanced for modern punch.
Includes a “Trap Stash” folder with our take on today’s go-to trap drums.
